Trip to Shravanabelagola, Halebidu, Belur and Manjarabad fort

Hey Hi Guys...Its fresh to say a BIG BIG Hi to all of you.

This time my trip consist of some ancient ,Historical monuments and Ancient civilization temples which is very OLD ,constructed in BC's.

We started at 6.00 Am from Bangalore to Sharavanbelagola which is 144 km from Bangalore , The roads are quite broader and of course its on Bangalore-Mangalore road(NH-75). So you can expect the pleasant journey. we had Breakfast at Swathi Delicacy which is its famous for its Veg and taste is pretty good which is above expectancy level. Once done with breakfast we headed to our destination. Its around 8.00 Am.We started climbing stairs which is around 300 steps with bare foot with 28 c temp. we reached top by taking stunning pics from above foot steps where you can find "Gometeshwara statue" which is 58 feet tall.

From Sharavanbelagola we headed to Belur which is around 85-90 km. It is one of the most ancient temple with beautiful and Amazing old sculptures around the temple. There is a shiva linga(Which is also called as Chennakeshawa ) inside the temple. You can take Guide also for historical experience of Belur temple. we had Good lunch near by temple and headed towards Halebidu which is around 15-17 km. It is also one of the most beautiful archaeological ancient with mind blowing sculptures around the temple.It is famous for its Hoysala architecture which dates back to 12th century.

It is around 5.00 pm in the evening we headed to Manjarabad fort which is located in sakleshpur distrcit around 55-57 kms from Halebidu. By the time we reached the fort is closed.But we had taken pics from outside(PS: Try to reach early before 5,by reducing the time in taking pics:-p) It is also one of the oldest fort in sakelshpur which is constructed by TippuSultan.

From Fort we headed to Bangalore in middle there were some coffee estates and beautiful graphical places to take breathtaking pics.

This is my one day memorable historical trip.
